Known as the "low-altitude hunter," HQ-17AE is a multi-functional anti-aircraft missile system developed by China.
It serves as the core of the anti-drone system and is an export derivative model of the HQ-17A (Red Flag-17A) air defence system (SHORAD).
Technological Features:

Incorporates advanced technologies, including an all-solid-state phased array radar, vertical cold launch, direct, quick turn, and rotating tail.
Short response time and adaptability to complex electromagnetic battlefield environments.
Performance Specifications:

Combat slant range: 1.5 kilometres to 20 kilometres.
Combat altitude: 10 meters to 10,000 meters.
A single vehicle can guide 4 missiles to intercept 4 targets simultaneously.
