OC Transpo crisis: Buying used buses, outsourcing repairs

OC Transpo is resorting to buying used buses and sending vehicles out of town for repairs as cancellations mount across the network. CTV’s Josh Marano reports on the "scramble" to maintain the fleet, with General Manager Troy Charter admitting service isn't meeting standards. Riders on downtown routes like the 6 and 7 are facing cancellation rates over 10 per cent. The city has purchased 11 used buses for $192,000 to fill the gap caused by delayed electric buses.
