FLIR Scout TK and SiOnyx Aurora with 940 nm illumination

A brief clip showing what FLIR's Scout TK monocular sees, compared to what the SiOnyx Aurora sees when an area is illuminated with a 940 nm light source.

Note that the wavelength of the 940 nm light source is too short for the FLIR to see. It's also below the visible range for the human eye as well as for hogs. This scene, without night vision, is totally dark.

The Scout TK is often used to initially spot any game approaching the area. The SiOnyx Aurora is used to observe a wider area at higher resolution and also for targeting when mounted behind a scope.
