It took three nominations to finally get the Paul Butterfield Blues Band into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. After the first two times he wasn't voted in, we decided to create this video. Shortly after it was completed, we sent it to the President & CEO of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, asking him to disseminate to Rock Hall voters in an attempt to educate them on the brilliance and legacy Paul and his band. Something worked, because he got voted in on the third try.
Paul and his band were inducted in the R&RHOF in 2015. This was filmed, produced and edited by Thom Pollard of Eyes Open Productions, music used with permission. This cut is in no way affiliated with or representative of the documentary on the life of Paul and is meant purely as an historical document of the life of a master musician and band leader.
