"24 Hours for the Lord" Happening this Weekend Focuses on Confession & Adoration | EWTN News Nightly

This weekend marks the annual 24 Hours for the Lord. The initiative began 11 years ago from Pope Francis and is focused on Confession and Adoration. Observed annually in dioceses worldwide, this Lenten initiative of prayer and reconciliation is celebrated on the eve of the Fourth Sunday of Lent. This year's theme, "Walking in a New Life," is taken from chapter 6 of Saint Paul's letter to the Romans. Churches are encouraged to take the extraordinary step of keeping their doors open continuously starting tonight and throughout tomorrow. EWTN Vatican Bureau Chief, Andreas Thonhauser, has more.
