Tapping the Eight Nests (拍八虚, Pā bā xū) is an ancient Qigong and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practice designed to stimulate the body’s meridian channels, remove toxins, and promote longevity. Through gentle rhythmic tapping on eight key zones — known as the “Eight Voids” — we awaken the Qi (vital energy), enhance circulation, and support the body’s natural healing systems.
💠 The Eight Nests (八虚) and Their Benefits:
– Armpits (Axillary voids) – Opens the Heart and Lung meridians, improves breathing, and relieves emotional tension.
– Elbow creases – Stimulates circulation through the Heart, Lung, and Pericardium channels; helps with arm and shoulder stiffness.
