The very final moments of mk2/3s on the Caledonian Sleeper

Morning of 10th October 2019: The last ever Caledonian Sleeper service made up of mk2 and mk3 carriages arrives at London Euston behind 90044, and then departs for the very last time to the carriage sidings behind 92006.

This is the 'Highlander' service, normally conveying portions from Inverness, Aberdeen and Fort William, but on this occasion the Fort William coaches have run from Aberdeen instead, due to a closure on the West Highland line.

Sad to see these coaches go - built for BR, they are what I've travelled on for my entire life and they have given around 40 years of service. They are replaced by the mk5 coaches, already in operation on the Lowland sleeper service.
