The tourists are astounded by scenic beauty of the place; the sparkling snow-peaks after recent snow fall as backdrop to placid lake with gentle ripples at an altitude of 17,800’ with chilly wind blowing across. Some go down the walking track to lake shore and others are content to take selfies and shooting the scene in their cams. Commencing return trip, at a short distance, some get down the car to frolic on freshly fallen snow. Autumn ( November 1st fortnight ) is possibly best option for tourists to visit North Sikkim.
