Removing Pen Ink From Leather (In a Private Jet!)

How to remove pen ink from leather and fabric? Well, usually I would plan to use a solvent to lift the ink off, which generally also ends up removing the original paint on the leather. So I arrived to this job ready to repaint the armrest.

However, I got lucky as a number of variables were acting in my favor. The pen ink stain was still fresh! and no attempts had been made yet to clean it. I used a pen ink remover (linked below) to dissolve the ink and lifted it away with a viscose cloth. Since the solvents also super cleaned the armrest, I cleaned the rest of the armrest as well to make sure that it all looked even.

Great success!

Note: read and watch the video fully, understand that these products can remove the paint on your leather as well, needing a re-dye (which can be accomplished with colourlock leather fresh.) #PrivateJet
