Making the mushroom guy - May vlog 2025

This year I wanted to try something different and make a vlog each month to share some behind the scenes footage.

May has seen Scotland enter a heatwave and after finding this adorable mushroom guy pattern from Critter Stitch on Etsy, I just had to add it to my make list. At the beginning of the month I collected all of the yarn I would need and once another project was finished I set about making up this cutest mushroom guy. For this project I used King Cole Yummy which is a Chenille yarn and the resulting make was fairly large but I enjoyed every minute of it and am super happy with the final make.
