As of October 6, 2020, Donald Trump ended all stimulus negotiations between the White House negotiators (Treasury Secretary Mnuchin, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Leader Mitch McConnell, and more). Trump tweeted ending all of these negotiations. However, Trump is now suggesting stand alone stimulus bills to provide: Stimulus Checks, stimulus unemployment, stimulus via PPP (Paycheck Protection Loans), stimulus for airline bailouts, and more. The Federal Reserve is demanding more stimulus and Trump supports more stimulus money, though the tension between Trump and Pelosi is too high to strike a deal at this point.

On October 7th, the Problem Solver's Caucus stated there was a miscommunication on stimulus talks and stimulus deals, stimulus checks, and stimulus packages are actually much closer than they appear.

On October 8th, Donald Trump says stimulus talks are making good progress and are back on! That they're talking about airlines, a bigger package, and $1,200 stimulus checks! He said things didn't look too good two days ago on a stimulus deal but now stimulus talks are back full-steam ahead and are looking very promising! On October 15, 2020, Donald Trump says I would pay more stimulus money and give that money to the workers. Mnuchin will be in the middle east between October 17-20th.
