Breguet Type XXI - A Rolex Daytona alternative you can actually buy!

All this talk about luxury chronographs misses an iconic chronograph from one of the oldest names in the Industry that is readily available. The Breguet Transatlantique Type XXI Flyback.

While it doesn't have the commercial success (and the shiny bracelet) of the Rolex Daytona or the frenzied community following of the 321 Speedmaster, what it does have is an instantly recognizable design that is well thought out and all about the core functionality while showing off some of the design chops of the storied manufacture. This is as iconic as any of the historic designs out there and is well worth your consideration. A great watch to pick up new or used and leave all the hype aside!
