Rambling in the garden at the end of June 2021

Plantlover’s garden of approximately one third of an acre; naturalised woodland, woodland edge borders, shrub border, shady courtyard, stream and streamside planting, water features, sitooterie, folly and numerous artefacts. Roses, clematis, potted hostas, perennials, foliage and annual fillers, cutting beds, greenhouses. Many benches and seating areas to contemplate the garden and birdlife or to enjoy homemade cake. Winter and spring interest with witch hazels, snowdrops and hellebores, and wood anemones, primroses and bluebells in the woodland. The garden is usually open for the National Garden Scheme in February and June.
