The college football game between Georgia Tech and Virginia had a wild ending as Georgia Tech nearly made a miraculous comeback in the final four minutes. Virginia scored a touchdown with under four minutes remaining to take a 48-27 lead. Then Georgia Tech moved the ball down the field and scored a touchdown to cut the lead to 48-34 with just 1:16 left on the clock. They then tried an onside kick and after a length replay review it was determined that the Yellow Jackets successfully recovered the ball. They then quickly moved down the field and scored a touchdown with just 22 seconds left to cut the lead to 48-40 (missed two point attempt). Then, Georgia Tech somehow recovered a second consecutive kick and got the ball back with 20 seconds remaining. They got the ball back all the way to the Virginia 30 yard line before a last second heave to the end zone was batted down by Virginia, who held on for a wild 48-40 victory over Georgia Tech.
