HARQUITECTES. The nature of building

HARQUITECTES is an architecture studio established in 2,000 and based in Barcelona. It is managed by four partner architects: David Lorente Ibáñez, Josep Ricart Ulldemolins, Xavier Ros Majó and Roger Tudó Galí, who count on an ample team of collaborators, such as architects, interior designers and students.

They have been invited as lecturers around Europe and America and their works have been recognized with several awards and also selected for local and abroad exhibitions. With a clear concept of architecture and a well-defined working philosophy, the office makes a commitment to both social and environmental issues and a contrast respect by the active participation of the client. For H Arquitectes, the Energy Efficiency is a feature that should be present in every project of architecture, no longer as an “extra” but as an indispensable common element to each new proposal of construction.
