#2 - Resin Dominoes Step By Step, Client Request

Hi everybody and welcome. I have a client request for a set of lime green dominoes with green glitter. So, Ivy, I hope you enjoy.

I edited out the part when I was mixing the resin colorant because you have seen me mix color and glitter together in the previous video. The green colorant was transparent and I was trying to make the shade dark enough and still retain the lime green look so when I mixed in the glitter, the dominoes wouldn’t be transparent from the back. You wouldn’t want that because other players could see the dots on the dominoes from the back.

After the dominoes cured, I took a pipette and filled in the dots with white acrylic paint. I didn’t like the way the paint was filling in the holes so, I switched to a dotting tool and the process went quicker. After the paint dried, I filled in the holes with resin in a pipette. I also took a white acrylic marker and filled in the lines in the middle of the dominoes.
