How I Started Learning Japanese From Zero | Week 1 (Process and Progress)
Short, cute montage of exactly what I did and used to start learning Japanese in my first week!

Some background:
I absolutely love language learning, and I've been bilingual since forever. I've been wanting to learn Japanese for 10 years now, but never felt that it was the "right time". The reason why I've decided to do this now, I talked about in my last video, - how I was having trouble getting myself to do anything intentional with my language learning stuff for about a year, and I discussed and unpacked why that was and how I felt about it, and why I struggled with it. And at the end I decided that the best way for me to get back into it, and to reignite the dwindling flame would be to finally allow myself to start to learn Japanese and to stop saving it for some optimized and perfect future scenario. I have so many reasons for why I wanted to study it and learn it, ranging from my loving Japanese cuisine, and anime, and video games, to loving the design and detail and innovation that all of their products have, to honestly just loving anything that's cute. Honestly I'm also just a fan of how the language sounds in general. But anyway, so in this video I wanted to show you how I've started learning it, and what I've been up to in my first couple days/week of getting into it.
