BGIS 2026: The Grind has entered its third week, delivering high-intensity action as Groups A and B took center stage on January 26 and 27, 2026. This phase is critical as teams battle for the top eight spots to secure their progression to the next rounds.

Day 1 Highlights: Genesis Esports and TrueRippers Shine The opening day of Week 3 saw Genesis Esports dominate Group B, securing two back-to-back Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCDs) on Erangel. Their macro-management and center-control strategy allowed them to rack up 49 points early on. In Group A, the race was much tighter, with Blitz Esports and Higgboson Esports leading the pack. Infinix TrueRippers also made a statement with an explosive performance on Erangel, led by Hydro’s 7-kill MVP performance. iQOO Soul showed resilience, clinching a WWCD on Miramar thanks to Joker’s 6-kill rampage, keeping them well within the top five.

Day 2 Highlights: K9 Esports and Zutsu Esports Take Over Day 2 brought dramatic shifts in the standings. In Group A, K9 Esports executed a massive surge, jumping from 6th place (21 pts) to 1st place with a total of 73 points. Their methodical gameplay and Knight’s clinical finishes secured them a crucial WWCD on Erangel. Nebula Esports also provided a major highlight with Admino’s 8-kill rampage on Miramar, clinching the final match of the day.

In Group B, Zutsu Esports (7TSU) mirrored K9’s success by leaping from mid-pack to the top spot. Securely landing back-to-back WWCDs on Erangel and Miramar, they finished the day tied with K9 at 73 points. While Day 1 leaders Genesis Esports slipped to 2nd place with 69 points, they remain a formidable threat.

Current Standings and Meta Trends The top 8 race remains incredibly tight, with Group A separated by only 38 points from 1st to 8th. The current meta heavily rewards aggressive early drops and calculated third-party entries. The UMP and Grenade meta continues to define close-range engagements, while Rondo’s Factory zones and Miramar’s high-ground duels test the teams' tactical depth. As the Grind continues, consistency will be the deciding factor for fan favorites like GodLike and 8Bit, who are currently fighting to break into the top-tier rankings.
