The Horse That Can't Be Loaded, Caused From Pain.

We had a great time at the Illinois Horse Fair this weekend doing clinics and demos showing people that 90% of disrespect is caused from pain. I meet some great people and had the opportunity to help out a lot of horses. One woman I meet in particular was Karen Beck. We talked about a couple horses she had at home and I tried to convenience her that the problems she was having with a few of her horses was caused from pain. Although she was a little skeptical she invited me stop by her house on our way back home. The horse in the video is one of her horses. She said he used to load good but has been having a lot of difficulty loading him for about a year or so. I did a pain analysis and addressed his pain issues. He was a handful at first but after fixing some of the pain he began to calm down and let me get everything where it needed to be. After getting him fixed up and felling better it took about 45 seconds to get him loading in and out of the trailer like a champ. Also notice in the video this horse would not let me pick his front feet up but after fixing a few things he started picking his feet up for me before I even asked for it. I would like to say thank you to Rayne Zippin Brafford for this great video and to Karen for giving me the opportunity to work on her boy. Karen is no longer skeptical that 90% of disrespect is pain and was so amazed that she has offered to host a clinic back in Illinois and organize a bunch of horses for me to come work on including her entire herd and other horses from the area.
