Hezbollah's Rocket Arsenal - The 150,000 That Change Everything
Hezbollah has 150,000 rockets and missiles stockpiled along Israel's northern border. That is 43 times larger than Iran's remaining ballistic missile arsenal. And they can launch 2,500 per day.
The stockpile includes short-range Katyusha rockets, medium-range Fajr-5 systems, and long-range precision missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv. One hundred thousand to 120,000 are short-range artillery rockets. Twenty thousand to 30,000 are medium-range systems. Five thousand to 10,000 are long-range precision missiles. Launch capacity: 2,500 rockets per day sustained for 60 days. Iron Dome was designed to handle 90 rockets per day from Gaza. That is 28 times lower than Hezbollah's capability. Israel's remaining Iron Dome interceptor stockpile after three weeks of war with Iran: 2,000 missiles. At 2,500 rockets per day, Israel needs 2,125 interceptors per day. The stockpile lasts less than one day. The question isn't just how many rockets Hezbollah has. The question is whether Israel has enough interceptors to survive if both wars happen simultaneously.
