7029 'Clun Castle' - The Polar Express - Widney Manor - 25/11/22

Friday 25th November 2022 saw return of Vintage Trains 'Polar Express' experiences, operating between Birmingham Moor Street and Dorridge. The day saw a series of test runs, top Ex GWR 4-6-0 'Castle' Class, No.7029 'Clun Castle' in top and tail formation with British Rail Class 20, 20142.
Here we see two of the four return runs, with No.7029 ‘Clun Castle’ breaking the silence through Widney Manor, with British Rail Class 20, 20142 leading the final outward bound trip.
