On the Wrist, from off the Cuff: Seiko – SNE497 Tuna-Lite Mods, SBBN015 Style for less

On this episode we do a brief follow up on my Seiko SNE497. With 3 very simple mods, this new Tuna-Lite has really transitioned into a much more substantial feeling peice. It's sporting a Yobokies stainless steel shroud and a Strapcode Endmill bracelet with the clasp upgraded to the OEM Seiko MM300 ratcheting clasp. The biggest game changer was the shroud upgrade, as there are tons of different bracelet and strap options out there for you to choose from but the SS shroud really it what does the most to kick these new Prospex Solar Tunas up a notch. I could've been perfectly happy just upgrading the shroud and keeping it on the original bracelet but I had the Endmill and upgraded clasp laying around, so why not, right? I do think the noticeably more tapered links to add a touch more refinement though, while adding the MM300 ratcheting clasp keeps the OEM+ aesthetic strong theme.
