VW/AUDI 2.0TSI PCV VALVE FAILURE & REPLACEMENT
Another common VW failure point, the PCV valve when failed could generate multiple problems that could lead the inexperienced person to swap unnecessary parts.
I’ve seen people replace spark plugs, coils, oxygen sesnors, MAF and other to correct lean condition and misfiring.
Or try to solve oil leaks only to generate new leaks or the old leaks return soon after.
Common symptoms, exessive vacuum in the crankcase, oil leaks, whilsting sound, lean runing engine/lean codes like the P0171, rough running, misfiring/misfire codes like the P0300-P0304, power loss
