Billy Joel's Root Beer Rag and How to play it.
It's not a tutorial , but if you slow it down using the youtube slow down feature you will work it out ,
If you learn something by ear it will stay with you forever,
Billy's original left hand is very basic so I filled it out a little,
I simply love playing this tune, it's a little tricky in places so I hope you find this aerial view helpful.

I have added a short stride in the left hand to fill it out a bit more,
You don't need to do this but i find it fills it out better as a solo piece,

Slow it down and you'll figure it out,
If you learn something from sheet music you'll always need sheet music to play it ,
If you learn it by ear / memory , you'll own the tune and you'll be able to play it everywhere at anytime
