Dr. Patrick M. Owens holds a Bachelors from Fordham University, a Masters from the University of Kentucky, and a PhD from the Pontificium Institutum Altioris Latinitatis in Rome. Patrick has organized and moderated several seminars for spoken Latin and Latin pedagogy across America. He is currently the editor of the Neo-Latin Lexicon (begun by David Morgan), and is the president of the American Association of Neo-Latin Studies.

The Paideia Institute is a non-profit organization dedicated to expanding access to the classical humanities through spoken Latin & Ancient Greek travel programs, online classes, and curriculum development.
