Fencing Drills At Home
Hey guys!
Here are some at home jump rope/agility and fencing drills that I have been doing while stuck at home.
*Jump rope/agility - Try to do 30 seconds on 15 seconds rest and work your way up to 1 minute on 15-30 seconds rest for at least 10 rounds working on double leg, single leg, and changing directions.
*Tennis ball drills - Start with 20 hits and work your way up to 30, 40, and 50 while keeping good form and position to stay active and accurate with your point.
*Target drills - stationary: 10 - 20 hits on the target (straight hit, disengages with hit, 6 hit, 8 hit, 4 hit, etc), advance hit with variations (10-20 hits each), lunge hit with variations (10-20 hits each), double advance (change rhythm), advance lunge with hit (mix up 6, 8, 4, straight hit, disengages) and last the squat with hit. Aim for 10 hits for each exercise and work your way up or set a timer.
--Take breaks in between or do opposite side footwork and hitting the target or tennis ball to mix up sets.
