Sunday Soup Special (Potato Soup and Crab Soup. You have to try these!!!!)

Welcome to another episode of Sunday Cooking with Mom and Me. Today we have TWO great soup recipes for you. Come on in and take a look as we prepare Potato Soup, as well as Crab Soup. Crab soup

1 LB (16 ounces) crabmeat
16 ounces Heavy Cream
1 cup whole milk
1/4 cup of finely diced celery
¼ cup chopped onion
1/8 cup (2 cloves) finely chopped garlic
Olive oil
2 tablespoons salted butter
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
2 dashes of Cheyenne pepper
1 teaspoon of Old Bay Seafood Seasoning

Drizzle olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté celery, onions, and garlic in olive oil.
Add 2 tablespoons of butter.  Whisk in one Tablespoon of flour to pan.  Add 2 cups of heavy cream and 1cup of whole milk.
Add 1 teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of black pepper, one teaspoon of Old Bay seafood seasoning, and two dashes of Cheyenne pepper. 
Add 2 pounds of crabmeat. Allow to simmer for twenty minutes.
Spoon into a bowl and garnish with chopped parsley.

Potato soup

5 Idaho potatoes 
3 strips bacon
16 ounces Heavy whipping cream
1 teaspoon of self-rising flour
1/4 cup water
4 tablespoons of salted butter
2 ounces  (1/4 cup) of Velveeta cheese
2 dashes of seasoning salt 
2 dashes of garlic salt
1 dash of Cheyenne pepper
1 dash of black pepper
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 strips of bacon

Wash and Peel and cut potatoes into small (½ -1 inch) cubes. Add potatoes to pot and fill pot with enough water to cover potatoes. Add ½ teaspoon of salt.
Boil potatoes until slightly tender for 10 minutes on medium heat.  Check potatoes for done-ness using a fork to stick into them. Do not overcook. Drain potatoes and set aside.
Add 16 ounces of heavy whipping cream to a saucepan.  Add 1 teaspoon of self-rising flour and whisk until flour is dissolved.  Add 4 Tablespoons of salted butter. 
Add 2 ounces of Velveeta cheese.  Place saucepan over heat and whisk until all ingredients are blended and cheese and butter have melted.  Add 2 dashes of seasoning salt, 2 dashes of garlic salt, a dash of Cheyenne pepper, 2 dashes of black pepper and 1/8 teaspoon of salt.  Whisk ingredients and add potatoes to sauce
pan and simmer for 20 minutes.
In the meantime, place four strips of bacon on pan lined with nonstick foil. Cook bacon in a 385 degree Fahrenheit oven for 20 minutes until golden brown. Drain bacon on a plate lined with paper towel. Once the bacon is cool, crumb and set aside until it is cool and then crumble into small pieces.

Add soup to bowl and top with cheese and crumbled bacon.
