Dec 19 - Slate and ash / felt instruments / Digitakt

A gnarly bass arp from Slate & Ash Choreographs’ Juno square wave engine and amp + cab sims, over top of a beat from Digitakt. DT is also sequencing Lekko and Jasno from Felt Instruments. Throwing random LFO shapes on filter release, envelope, and sample length makes standard patterns really unpredictable. In this case it takes away a steady kick drum and I love how the arp doesn’t always land on a discernible downbeat. Adds a little interest, tension and chaos to a pretty robotic midi sequence.
