Greystone Castle - Guide Austin Collins

Meet Austin Collins, one of our full time guides here at Greystone Castle Sporting Club.

Originally from Chico, Texas, Austin joined Greystone in 2016 while studying Wildlife Sustainability and Ecosystem Sciences at Tarleton State University. What started as a college internship quickly turned into a full-time role after years of learning every corner of the ranch and taking on just about every job it has to offer.

From upland hunts and whitetail to time spent on the water, Austin has done it all. But if you ask him his favorite, he’ll tell you it’s ducks. Early mornings, cold water, and the sound of wings cutting through the air just before they hit the pond, that's what Austin lives for.

At Greystone, guides like Austin are part of what make the experience what it is. Their knowledge of the land, dedication to the craft, and genuine care for every guest all play a role in creating something you won’t find just anywhere.
