Primera AP-CODE Date Coder - Print lot codes & date codes onto containers

Primera's AP-CODE Date Coder connects seamlessly with the AP360 or AP362 Label Applicators to print date codes, lot codes, and much more directly onto containers and labels.

With no tools required, AP-CODE installs quickly to any of Primera’s AP-Series Label Applicators. It doesn’t need a separate power supply and includes a full-color touchscreen to enter data and configure date and lot codes. The print fields are free-format and can include letters, numbers, and many symbols. Even bar codes are possible. Formats can be stored for later use, speeding up production.

The single black ink cartridge provided with AP-CODE has a new ink formulation that adheres to a wide range of substrates, including glass, metal, plastic, and laminated labels. Decap time is more than 24 hours, eliminating clogs and needing to cap print heads overnight.

AP-CODE, in combination with our AP-Series Label Applicators, now gives our customers the ability to apply labels and print expiration, “Sell by” and “Best by” dates, lot codes, and much more, directly onto their containers – and all with one, integrated machine. Compared to hand-applying extra labels or using hand-stamping devices, the efficiency gains for our customers with AP-Series Label Applicators is significant.
