A Better TV Typewriter - The SWTPC CT-1024
#vintagecomputer #swtpc #electronics In 1975, impressed by the success of Don Lancaster's groundbreaking TV Typewriter, Daniel Meyer of Southwest Technical Products asked an engineer, Ed Colle, to redesign the terminal with an emphasis on ease of construction and reliability. The result was the CT-1024, dubbed the TV Typewriter II, a terminal for the masses. This would become SWTPC's best selling product and introduce many thousands to home computing.
