Restoration of ancient pyramid in Egypt draws fierce backlash

A restoration project planned for one of Giza’s ancient pyramids in Egypt has received fierce backlash from Egyptologists. The project uses laser technology to recase the pyramids with granite blocks, but some claim that the restoration efforts are “unscientific" and tantamount to "tampering with Egyptian antiquities."
