In the warmer weather, there’s nothing better than ripping off your clothes and diving headfirst into the water. On a planet that’s 71% water, we’re spoilt for choice when it comes to swimming spots. Lakes, rivers and oceans for the brave – swimming pools and bathtubs for the rest of us... but it turns out not all swimming locations were created equal. Some are a lot safer than others. From boiling waters to nasty creatures below the surface – at these places a sunburn is the least of your worries. Put the goggles away, these beaches are closed until further notice.
