Ο Γιώργος Μόσχος σπούδασε νομικά στην Αθήνα και εγκληματολογία (Μ.Phil) στο Λονδίνο. Επιμορφώθηκε σε θέματα εκπαίδευσης ενηλίκων, διοργάνωσης κέντρων νεότητας και θεατροπαιδαγωγικής. Εργάστηκε εμψυχώνοντας και στηρίζοντας παιδιά και εφήβους και προωθώντας τα δικαιώματά τους. Εκπαίδευσε ενήλικους επαγγελματίες και εθελοντές στα πεδία της εξειδίκευσής του. Το 2003 διορίστηκε ως ο πρώτος Συνήγορος του Παιδιού (Βοηθός Συνήγορος του Πολίτη για τα Δικαιώματα του Παιδιού) και υπηρέτησε σε αυτή τη θέση μέχρι και τον Ιανουάριο του 2018. Στο πλαίσιο της αποστολής του επικοινώνησε με χιλιάδες παιδιά και επαγγελματίες που εργάζονται μαζί τους, σε σχολεία, ιδρύματα ή αλλού, και υποστήριξε τα δικαιώματά των παιδιών και τη συστηματική ακρόαση των απόψεων τους. Είναι συνιδρυτής της Πρωτοβουλίας για το Άρθρο 12 (ΠΡΩΤΑ.12), που σκοπεύει στην ενίσχυση του δικαιώματος των παιδιών να εκφράζουν ελεύθερα τη γνώμη τους.

George Moschos studied law in Athens and criminology (M.Phil) in London. He was trained in adult education, funding of youth centers and theater education. He worked to inspire and support children and adolescents and to promote their rights. He trained adult professionals and volunteers in his areas of specialization. In 2003 he was appointed the first Ombudsman (Assistant Ombudsman Children’s Rights) and served in this position until January 2018. During his incumbency he contacted thousands of children and professionals who work with them, in schools, institutions or elsewhere, and advocated for children's rights and the systematic hearing of their views. He is the co-founder of the Article 12 Initiative (Inart.12), which aims to strengthen the right of children to express their opinions freely.
