DIY: MACRAME HEART | BERRY KNOT HEART | MACRAME FOR BEGINNERS | STEP BY STEP

In this intermediate tutorial we will be making a Berry Knot Heart wallhanging. I hope guys enjoy and let know what you think in the comments below. For myself I like to hang my work on one small nail from the centre of the piece attaching it directly to the wall. If you prefer to have a loop to hang this, or any other piece from, simply find the exact center, use string and create one to the exact length you desire. Another option would be to sew a small hoop on the back and hang it from there to keep the floating on the wall appearance.

***PLEASE NOTE*** if your knots are not as tight as mine, or you don’t follow the revised berry knot pattern in the video, or you use a thicker or 3ply or braided cord, please cut a decent amount more than theses measurements.

For this project I used TOTAL of 161 feet/49 meters 4mm single ply cotton cord cut into the following lengths:
3 x 3ft/90cm
6 x 10ft/305cm
4 x 11ft/335cm
4 x 12ft/365cm

My cord is 100% recycled and biodegradable from Ganxxet.
