Kickboxing Training - Changing Rhythm and Tempo in Striking with Tyler Wombles
Although it is important to develop power and utilise it whilst fighting in Kickboxing (or any other striking based combat sport), it pays to be able to alternate the tempo and mix attacks up.
Alternating between light and hard can often create more openings than simply hitting full power with every shot.
Here, in this video I made when I visited the truly brilliant Classic Fight Team gym in Huntington Beach a few months back, head coach Tyler Wombles (alongside the equally talented Jeremy Sanchez) shows one drill he likes to use with his fighters when utilising this exact mechanic in training!!
Enjoy the fire on display and then make sure you smash the follow button on Tyler, Jeremy and Classic Fight Team across all social media today!
