There has been much anticipation of new hardware from Apple, Meta and Google that will enable us to experience the metaverse. VOICES 2022 speaker, Imran Chaudhri, believes there is another way.

As the former director of design at Apple, where he worked for 20 years, Imran Chaudhri is credited for creating the original user interface of the iPhone, to other popular products including the Mac, iPod, iPad, Apple Watch and AirPods.

In 2019, he co-founded the technology product design company Humane, along with his wife, Bethany Bongiorno. Humane is driven by Imran’s insistence on putting the human experience front and centre in the design process.
