The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is usually something that many Americans look forward to every year. The parade is always featuring different performances from various groups and organizations across America, and so one of this year’s acts came from the Zeta Phi Beta Steppers, a sorority from the historically Black college, Howard University. Zeta Phi Beta is a 100 year old sorority with legacy status, so already people show the group a lot of respect. On top of that the sorority contains a student body composed of black women. So what was the problem you ask? What was the big deal about this group’s act? Well it was the way they were introduced.
