How to Light 2 People for an Interview or Scene with Cross Key Lighting

Learn how to light two people for an interview or dialogue scene with cross key lighting. This is also called reverse key lighting, upstage lighting, short side lighting, and probably a few other names too...We used the new Fujifilm X-T4 to film this lowlight video. This is one of the most effective ways to light an interview with 2 people on camera because it only requires two lights. Each light is used as both a hair light and a key light for the other subject. By using a boom pole stands or a grid system, you can easily hide the lights to get over the shoulder shots and coverage.
