Learning that Batman has been missing from Gotham for some time, Superman finds Robin battling crimes and rogues, like The Penguin, The Riddler, Bane, The Mad Hatter and Roxy Rocket all by himself. Superman disguises himself as Batman and helps Robin investigate why Batman has disappeared, leading to a confrontation with Brainiac.
