How to make a simple horizontal floral design using a medium glass bowl

Today's design has been inspired by the Gladioli, a great seasonal flower either grown in the garden in later summer and autumn or available from the florist or grocery store. I've teamed the gladioli with some amazing full headed lilac roses and the magnificent Roselily in pale pink. If you've not seen the Roselily before, its a wonderful double headed lily that is completely pollen-free.

I felt the use of peacock feathers and the subtle colour combination, gave me an almost Art Nouveau feeling to the design. A clean and crisp design, not overly fussy with a minimalist selection of flowers and foliage.
