Introducing GRIPS, a Conversation with Professor Takashi Shiraishi
Founded in 1997 to promote high-level policy research, GRIPS is an international premier policy school, which aims to contribute to the betterment of democratic governance around the world. GRIPS provides interdisciplinary education for future leaders in the public sector and conducts research on contemporary policy issues to generate innovative solutions. GRIPS boasts an impressive network of over 4,000 alumni who are actively engaged in shaping policy in more than 100 countries around the world.
Professor Takashi Shiraishi joins UNU Centre for Policy Research Director Sebastian von Einsiedel for a conversation about the pursuit of GRIPS’ three core goals: to promote interdisciplinary policy research; to equip public policy professionals with the expertise and breadth of vision they need to serve effectively on the world stage; and to create a global hub for policy studies.
