The infamous Brighton Mod Weekender. A short film shot during the beautiful summer August Bank Holiday weekend in Brighton (UK).

I was so blown-away and overwhelmed by the shear level of styling and presentation of the Lambretta & Vespa scooters (and most of their owners) — that I decided to share the experience with you. Check-out the mod culture and fashion - with some local musical performances.

Italian fashion and Jazz music were the original inspiration for the Mods – who were subsequently influenced in the 1960s and 1970s by mod and beat music bands such as The Who, Small Faces, The Kinks and The Jam — and of course the iconic film Quadrophenia — with many parts of the movie being filmed on location in Brighton. This year 2019 marks the 40th anniversary since the films release.
