Adding a 24V, 17000 LB Australian Sherpa Winch to Restored 1984 M1009 CUCV Military K5 Blazer

This video was made over the course of a few weeks. It was a big project. A few tips if you want to go with a Sherpa Winch - 1) don't get the extra winch line. You have a choice of either 100 ft or 150ft. The 150 ft is too much. It does not unravel since it is way too tight; 2) if getting 24V for a CUCV, get the extra length batter cables. It will save you from have to make cables yourself; 3) Make sure you have good metal drills and I recommend a sharpener. There was a lot of drilling through metal and I was not fun.
