I sampled over 10 items from KFC and McDonald's in a quest to find the best breakfast in fast food restaurants.

KFC menu in China is really extensive and offers a lot more varieties and I tried the rice roll, chicken wrap (Chinese style), Chinese breakfast platter with Preserved Eggs (CENTURY OLD EGG) Congee, deep fried dough (油條), nice soy milk (豆漿), and of course, their coffee.

Mcdonald's offer mostly western style muffins and sandwiches, but they do serve nice preserved egg congee, big chicken muffins (Chinese BBQ flavor), deep fried dough (油條), and of course, soy milk (豆漿) and coffee.
