THPS1+2 Remake analysis🔎. Is it built on top of THPS-HD?

In the announcement video, they said that this new remake is built off of the "code base" from Neversoft. But the new gameplay footage kind of looks like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD. Here's some stuff I'm concerned about.
