Today, my hubby and I will be taking you with us to try out a new hawker-style restaurant which recently opened in Melbourne, named HAWKER CHAN.

Hawker Chan had been on the new due to the fact that it is the world’s cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant founded by Chef Chan Hong Meng - a very humble hawker stall owner who perfected his Cantonese chicken recipe over 30 years. In 2016, he was awarded the prestigious Michelin Star.

In his Melbourne restaurant, expect it to be busy and with long queues outside the restaurant during peak hours – expect at least a 30-minute wait!

The menus here are limited but great. The signature dishes are the soy chicken, char siu (BBQ pork), roast pork and pork ribs – so try them all. Prices starts from AUD$6.80.
