The 2025 Nostradamus Report portrays a industry shifting from resisting reality to building resilient resistance, offering practical ideas for sustainable projects and business models.
The 12th Nostradamus Report will be unveiled in collaboration with Marché du Film, featuring a presentation by the report’s author and media analyst Johanna Koljonen, followed by an in-depth industry panel.

Since 2013, the Göteborg Film Festival’s Nostradamus initiative has provided forward-looking insights into the future of the audiovisual industry. Authored by Johanna Koljonen, the annual reports track emerging trends in business models, distribution, and audience behaviour, offering valuable guidance for industry professionals and policymakers across Europe.
The Nostradamus Project is presented by Göteborg Film Festival in partnership with BoostHBG, Kulturakademin, and Lindholmen Science Park, with additional funding from Creative Europe MEDIA, Region Västra Götaland, and Nordisk Film & TV Fond.
