Titlis is the crown jewel of Central Switzerland and the only glacier accessible to the public in the area. The Titlis ski area is home to over 80 kilometers of slopes, with slopes suitable for all levels of fitness. The season runs from October to May. From Engelberg, take the 8-seater Titlis Xpress cable car, pass the Trübsee intermediate station and continue to the Stand station. The first rotary cable car, the Titlis Rotair, then takes you from the Stand station to the summit, at an altitude of 3,020 meters. The journey from Engelberg to Titlis takes about 30 minutes❗
From Zurich, the famous Mount Titlis can be reached in 69 minutes by car. Located on the border between the cantons of Bern and Obwalden, the mountain can be reached from Engelberg by cable car. The main leg of the journey takes guests to the Stand summit station, from where they can then transfer to the Titlis Rotair cable car, which rotates 360° during the five-minute journey to the summit.
