Breaking: Amid Bengaluru Stampede Case Uproar KSCA Shankar And Treasurer Jayram Submits Resignation

In the wake of the tragic stampede outside Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium during the Royal Challengers Bengaluru's IPL 2025 victory celebrations, Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Secretary A. Shankar and Treasurer E.S. Jairam have tendered their resignations. The incident, which occurred on June 4, 2025, resulted in 11 fatalities and over 75 injuries as a massive crowd gathered to celebrate RCB's maiden IPL title win. In a joint statement, Shankar and Jairam expressed their moral responsibility for the disaster, despite their limited roles in the event's organization. They submitted their resignations to KSCA President Raghuram Bhat on the night of June 5 .
